Stera-Rays UV Premier 825 Watt Portable UVC Tower

The Stera-Rays^TM UVC system is used as part of the high-level disinfection process in critical areas and as well as isolation rooms, other patient rooms in hospitals, when the patient is vacated to make sure that the next patient will not be infected with a previous patient's residual contamination either through a common bed, air and other equipment present in the same room. It is very handy in regular cleaning cycle, and aims at preventing and reducing the spread of infectious diseases, viruses, bacteria, yeasts and fungi and other types of harmful organic microorganisms in the environment by breaking down their DNA/RNA structure and inactivates living cells.

The UV-C is safe, reliable and eliminates human error. UV disinfection is effective at wavelengths from 200 nm to 300 nm. The UVC radiation emitted has a strong bactericidal, virucidal effect.

The Stera-Rays^TM UVC system features user-friendly wheels for easy mobility. You can move it into an infected area, leave the room, and turn it on remotely. High-output UVC energy will decontaminate surfaces like tabletops, walls, and patient beds. A 15' x 12' area can be initially decontaminated in about 1 hour and within 25-30 minutes for routine cycles. Multiple units can be used for larger areas.
